Our friends took our picture for our Christmas cards the other day. I just thought it would be fun to post them on the blog. Makenna was our little model thinking of all types of different poses!

A new cast for Wyatt

We were at the store the other day and Wyatt's cast fell off! It was kinda funny because he just looked at his arm saying: "oh, oh". He was so amazed at how he could bend his fingers. The rest of the way through the store he kept asking me to kiss his "owie". I had to leave the store and head to the hospital to get another cast put on. This time they put him in a long arm cast so he wouldn't wiggle out of it!

Wyatt's burn

Wyatt was helping Ron make dinner when he decided to put his hand on the griddle!! We took him to the ER and they almost put him in an ambulance to take him to the pediatric burn center! Luckily he calmed down with the pain medication they gave him and we were able to take him home. He's had appointments each week at the burn center. He's been doing the therapy exercises and so far so good. I just hope this isn't a precurser of what's to come with this little guy, I don't know if I can handle any more injuries! It's so sad watching him try to play. He gets so frustrated not being able to pick anything up or feed himself. He can barely stand up on his own between the cast and the burn! Sooooo sad!

Thanksgiving

Wyatt decided to follow the big kids and walk down the stairs instead of slide on his belly. Poor guy ended up fracturing his radius!



Kyla and Makenna decided to play "ghosts" instead of going to sleep one night. They put the covers over thier heads and proceeded to jump on the bed. Kyla ended up hitting her eye on the headboard!
