Wyatt was helping Ron make dinner when he decided to put his hand on the griddle!! We took him to the ER and they almost put him in an ambulance to take him to the pediatric burn center! Luckily he calmed down with the pain medication they gave him and we were able to take him home. He's had appointments each week at the burn center. He's been doing the therapy exercises and so far so good. I just hope this isn't a precurser of what's to come with this little guy, I don't know if I can handle any more injuries! It's so sad watching him try to play. He gets so frustrated not being able to pick anything up or feed himself. He can barely stand up on his own between the cast and the burn! Sooooo sad!

I am so sorry. When Tiago had his big huge burn on his wrist, the biggest concern I had was keeping it clean and dry. I can only imagine what your days are like trying to keep it safe. I love that Wyatt's cast had a familiar doctor to put it on.

Ouch! You've had your turn with kid accidents of late! Hope the little guy gets better quickly. I hope I don't have similar events to look forward to with Benjamin!
That's quite a hand you have there little guy. We have something in common, but it will be years until you understand. Hang in there and remember, let daddy and mommy do the cooking!
