After adding all our pictures from Hawaii, I realized that some were missing! I found them and added them, but they're all out of order now! I wish I knew how to move pictures around after putting them into a post! Anyway, above is a picture of Makenna and Wyatt pretending to sweep the sidewalk with a branch of a tree.
I was so shocked that the kids weren't afraid of holding this bird!
The girls were sure that this was the biggest leaf ever!
Ella was such a trooper this trip! She took her naps in this stroller by the pool! She's such a good baby!
Wyatt LOVED this big bike! I love the way he crossed his legs for the picture!We flew on a C17 to Hawaii for spring break, it was so great! These pictures ended up out of order a bit. Below is a picture of Makenna in the cockpit!
All the kids fell asleep... LOVE IT!!!
This is our luggage at the back of the plane.
They had blankets and pillows for everyone. The kids had a lot of fun!
I was standing at the back of the plane taking this picture. People brought air matresses and sleeping bags to sleep on the 5 1/2 hour flight!
Kyla made friends with one of the crew members who took us up to the cockpit! It was so neat!
This is a picture of Wyatt wearing earplugs. It was kinda loud so we wore earplugs during takeoff.
We went to a luau where they cooked a whole pig in that pit on the ground.
For some reason the kids loved looking at the pig, it was so gross! Kyla and I were looking at these pictures today and when she saw this one she said: "yum, yum, yummy!". I thought they'd be freeked out... I was wrong!

Cool plane ride. Now I finally know what one of those look like...I have always wondered. That's awesome that you got to go in the cockpit. Your kids are so cute. Never just a simple pose for the camera...they sure ham it up!! Are you freezing again?
It looks like you guys had a great time in Hawaii! That plane ride looks cool! I wish we could always lay down like that and sleep! Can't wait to see you guys in July...
I was just talking with a friend the other day who just moved from Alaska. She was saying how everyone just heads to Hawaii for Spring Break. I didn't realize how easy it was. Looks awesome.
I am so glad that you were able to get warm and see Hawaii!! The kids must have loved going there and swimming; not to mention the fun plane ride. Always an adventure! I must admit, I feel like hopping on one of those tomorrow to be able to relax in Hawaii. To answer your question, we are headed to the Juneau area in June. We looked up how far that was from you guys, and they said that it could not be done by car. I guess it is a pretty WILD place up there. Hopefully you guys can make it down here to sunny Cali when you come to see family.
Love all the updated photos. Looks like you had a great time--what fun to ride in a military plane and be able to stretch out a bit. I'm sure going to a place of warmer weather was a nice change, too. I'm afraid it will probably be a while before we will get to take our family to Hawaii. but we can always dream, right?! You look great!
So jealous! How awesome is that? We got to get our house ready to sell during sprink break this year! Fun huh?
